A 31-year-old man appeared in Broome Magistrate’s Court this morning after an alleged attack on a woman last night.
Police were called to a Broome residence in Kerr Street around 8pm. The man had allegedly punched a 22-year-old woman several times to the head, causing serious facial injuries.
A police media spokeswoman said the woman was flown to Royal Perth Hospital for specialist treatment, however her injuries have since been downgraded and are not believed to be life threatening.The man appeared in court this morning charged with aggravated unlawful wounding
