Pedestrian hit by truck

A man was badly injured when he was hit by a truck in Middle Swan last night.

The pedestrian, believed to be in his thirties, was crossing the road on Lloyd Street in front of the Polytechnic West Midland campus about 11pm.

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where he remained in a stable condition last night.

Major crash officers were last night investigating the incident.
