School, homes without power after crash

REBECCA TRIGGER, The West Australian September 13, 2012, 8:15 am

About 70 homes and a high school are without power this morning after a car crashed into a power pole in Morley this morning.

The crash occurred on Benara Road about 7am, but it believed there were no serious injuries.

Students at Lockridge High School are conducting classes without lights or computers this morning as they wait for service to be resumed.

Western Power crews are working to restore power to the area and the supply is expected to be up and running by noon, a spokeswoman said.
