Fire alert for Broome shire

FESA have issued a Watch and Act alert for parts of the Shire of Broome.


Those between 12 Mile and Roebuck Plains Roadhouse in the Shire of Broome are being warned a fire is a potential threat to lives and homes.

FESA has recommended people in the area close all doors and windows and turn off evaporative air conditioners, keeping water running through the system.

People who are not at their homes are being advised to stay away.

Broome Highway has been closed and firefighters are at the scene.
