Armed burglars terrify women

Police are hunting three men armed with a crow bar who smashed their way into a house in Redcliffe yesterday, terrifying two women inside.

The three men, all aged between 25 to 35, smashed the glass of a door at the Drummond Street home about 4:30pm, startling a 43 year old woman and her daughter at home at the time.

The two women ran out onto the street as the offenders tore the house apart.

They stole cash and other items from the house before driving off in a white dual-cab Toyota Hilux.

Descriptions of the men are sketchy, but two had light skin and one was dark skinned.
