A 20-year-old woman who was jogging alone in Coolbinia was grabbed and pulled into bushland early this morning.
Police are asking for help with their investigation into the incident, which happened about 5.20am on Bradford Street.
They have also issued a reminder to people to be aware of their surroundings while walking or jogging alone.
The woman was jogging in a south-easterly direction when she noticed a man walking towards her on the footpath.
When she ran by the man grabbed her around the neck and on her chest and pushed her into the bushland near Coolbinia Primary School.
The victim managed to break free and ran to a nearby residence for help.
The offender is 30 to 35 years old and 173 to 175cm tall with a solid build and bushy eyebrows.
