Woman airlifted after Wheatbelt crash

Update, 9.20pm: A 65-year-old woman has been airlifted to Perth after her car collided with another vehicle in the Wheatbelt this evening.

It is understood the woman crashed into another car as she exited her property in Wadderin near the intersection of Wilson Road and Mount Walker Road, 10km east of Narembeen about 5pm.

The other driver was not injured.

The woman had to be cut free from her car by emergency workers.

The RAC Rescue helicopter took the woman to Jandakot Airport before she was transferred by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

It is believed she suffered a broken arm.
