Three men and three juveniles will appear in court today after being charged over a violent attack on a Warnbro teenager.
Jimi Brewer-Joyce sustained bleeding on the brain and a fractured skull when he and his friends were attacked by a group of six while walking on Safety Bay Road in Warnbro about 11pm on July 21.
Police allege three cars containing 10 males parked around the corner from a Gull Petrol Station in Warnbro, near where Jimi and his friends were walking, and approached them armed with baseball bats, hockey sticks, golf clubs and sticks. The group attacked the friends with the weapons.
A 19-year-old from Bassendean, a 19-year-old from Midland and a 19-year-old from Cloverdale will appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
A 16-year-old from Thornlie, a 17-year-old from Redcliffe and a 17-year-old from Greenwood will appear in Perth Children's Court.All six have been charged with grievous bodily harm.
