Police have charged three women for allegedly aiding a 17-year-old detention centre escapee while he was on the run from police for six days.
A 22-year-old Coolongup woman, 44-year-old Mandurah woman and an18-year-old from Thornlie have been charged with aiding an escapee and will appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court at a later date.
The two detainees escaped from Banksia Hill detention centre last week.
The 18-year-old was arrested at a party in Nollamara on Saturday after he crashed through the ceiling of a house when police were called to break up the party
The 17-year-old, who was also attending the party, managed to flee from police but was caught yesterday evening.
Police arrested the youth at a hotel unit in Ravenswood in the company of three women.
He has been charged with escaping lawful custody, aggravated armed robbery, stealing a motor vehicle, stealing a motor vehicle reckless, two counts of driving without a licence, and failure to report an accident.He will appear in Perth Children's Court today.
