Crash in Medina after police chase

A man has escaped serious injury after he crashed a car during a police chase in Medina.

During the pursuit about 6pm, he crashed the white 1994 model Hilux into a traffic pole on Medina Avenue, damaging the car but escaping mostly unharmed.

A 23-year-old man from Safety Bay was arrested at the scene.
