Search for missing Wiluna teen

Police are searching for a missing 16-year-old.

Police are searching for a teenager who has been missing from Wiluna since last night.

The 16-year-old was last seen in the townsite at 5pm. An air search is underway to try and locate the boy.

In a statement today police said it is possible he could have hitched a ride.

The missing boy is described as dark-skinned, 180cm tall with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing camouflage cargo pants, a grey t-shirt, a blue beanie and sneakers.

Those with information are asked to contact police on 131 444.
