Stolen car damages Gosnells property

A stolen car has hit a fence and crashed into a carport in Gosnells.

About 4.20am, the driver of the stolen silver Mitsubishi drove through a pedestrian alleyway before hitting the fence and carport in Risby Street.

The offenders ran away.

A police spokeswoman said the stolen vehicle was being followed by police but was not involved in a high speed chase.

No one was injured in the crash and there was minor damage to the fence and carport.
