Car crashes into Scarborough house

A car crashed into a house in Scarborough overnight.

The crash happened on Ventnor Street about 11.30pm, when a Ford Fairmont ploughed into the home.

No one was injured but the house sustained significant structural damage.

A 21-year-old Woodlands man has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol level in excess of 0.08 over the crash and will be summonsed.

He could face further charges over the damage to the home as the police investigation continues.
