Two men are accused of threatening shop staff with a blood-filled syringe and a hammer during armed robberies in the southern suburbs.
Police regional investigation unit officers charged the men yesterday over hold-ups last month after searching houses in Armadale, Como and Nollamara.
The armed men allegedly demanded cash from staff at a deli in Como about 5pm on May 21 and from a bakery in Rivervale about 5.10pm the next day, police claim.
A 23-year-old Armadale man and a 20-year-old Como man have been charged with several offences including robbery and attempted robbery.
They will appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.Sponsored links
