Police are considering using mobile police stations in problem areas at peak times.

WA Police Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan said mobile police facilities could be moved to busy areas such as key entertainment precincts.

"It means the public can come to police at the site," he said.

"They will only be there at peak times and they will be moving around, that will create greater visibility and greater service as well."
