The smoke haze over Nannup this morning is expected to clear within the next few hours.
The Department of Environment and Conservation advises that smoke is highly visible on the Nannup-Balingup Road and surrounding roads as a result of a prescribed burn carried out yesterday 14km west of Nannup.
The smoke was expected to clear by mid-morning.
DEC says smoke may reduce visibility on some roads and is advising motorists to take care, turn on headlights and travel at appropriate speeds when travelling in the area.
People with conditions exacerbated by smoke should take precautions in line with their medical advice for these circumstances.Sponsored links
