Man dead in Nollamara house fire

A man has died after a house fire in Nollamara overnight.

Police Inspector Mal Anderson said detectives and arson squad officers were called to the property in Nollamara Avenue just after midnight.

St John Ambulance officers treated the man after he was rescued from the house, but he died at the scene.

Police are investigating.
