More than 100,000 calls were taken last night and an emergency call centre has been set up in Forrestfield.

Western Power has urged the public to stay away from fallen power lines and to report any hazards.

To report any fallen power lines call or safety hazards call 13 13 51.

• SES: *

If your property has been damaged by the storm call the SES 132 500.

SES volunteers only make temporary repairs to badly damaged homes, for permanent repairs contact your insurance company.

If you do not have insurance and need emergency housing call the Department of Housing on 1800 093 325 or the Department for Child Protection (DCP) on 0418 943 835.
