Police have expressed concerns for a missing 20-year-old man who disappeared in Fitzroy Crossing at the weekend.

Joshua Karlsen was visiting his father in the Kimberley town when he went missing from a donga at the Fitzroy River Lodge.

A check of Mr Karlsen's room on Saturday revealed his wallet and personal belongings were still in the room, but he had gone missing.

Mr Karlsen's family are very concerned for his welfare as he is not familiar with the area and has not been in contact with anyone.

He is described as approximately 183cm tall, fair skinned, of slim build with spiky light brown hair.
