Police appeal on Lake Clifton crash

Police have appealed for information about a serious crash in Lake Clifton on Thursday.

Police said an Ivenko truck travelling north collided with a Hyundai sedan travelling east at the intersection of Forrest Highway and Old Coast Road about 11.30am.

The 49-year-old male driver of the Hyundai and his 46-year-old female passenger were seriously injured and flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter.

Police are calling for anyone who saw the vehicles prior to the crash or the crash itself to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
