Former AFL player manager Ricky Nixon has reportedly been arrested.

Victoria Police confirmed they arrested a 48-year-old man at 2.10pm after he was found drunk in a public area in Port Melbourne.

The Herald Sun reports Mr Nixon had an altercation with a member of the public before he was arrested in Bay Street.
