Swimmer injured on boat propeller

Update, 10.50am A swimmer has injured their leg on a boat propeller during the HBF Rottnest Island Channel Swim.

The woman was competing in a team and "tagging" her teammate when she cut her leg on the propeller.

Three rescue boats tended to the woman.

She has been taken to Fremantle Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be serious.

The team has withdrawn from the race despite being given the green light to continue.
