Three charged over $500,000 drug haul

Three people have been charged over a drug haul worth more than $500,000 found at three houses in Perth’s north yesterday.

Police found more than 750 grams of methylamphetamine and 314 grams of heroin at addresses in Mirrabooka, Marangaroo and Darch after executing three simultaneous search warrants about 1pm yesterday.

Cash, jewellery and mobile phones were also seized at the properties.

A 51-year-old Darch man and 34-year-old Darch woman were both charged with four counts of supplying a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply.

Both are due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrate’s Court today.

A 33-year-old Marangaroo man was charged with four counts of supplying a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, four counts of possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply and two counts of possession of unlawfully obtained property.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrate’s Court today.
