Fire investigation officers are this morning probing the cause of a fire which gutted a Nedlands home and caused major traffic disruptions on Stirling Highway late yesterday.
Six fire crews were called to the scene about 5.55pm to battle the blaze on the corner of Stirling Highway and Webster Street.
About $800,000 damage was caused to the two-storey home.
Firefighters from Daglish, Belmont, Osborne Park and Perth stations fought the blaze for nearly three hours.
The police arson squad are also investigating the cause of the fire.
