Arson attack destroys Bunbury shop

Police are investigating an arson attack which caused $100,000 of damage to a Bunbury paint shop overnight.

Fire and rescue police were called to the Paint West store on Picton Road in East Bunbury after the blaze started around 3am.

The fire destroyed the front part of the store and caused smoke damage.

Police said the arson squad attended the scene and confirmed the fire was started deliberately.'

A witness has told police they saw a person drive past and throw a fire bomb at the store.
