Bibra Lake factory fire under control

A fire that badly damaged a Bibra Lake factory this afternoon has been brought under control.

The Discovery Drive fire started about 4.30pm and took fire crews more than 20 minutes to extinguish.

A firefighter is understood to have suffered minor burns at the scene and St John Ambulance has been called.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.

A Fire and Rescue Service fire investigation officer is investigation.

A FESA spokeswoman said crews were using breathing apparatuses to inspect neighbouring units for damage.
