Bushfire under control at Boyanup

Update, 4.35pm The all clear has been given for people in North Boyanup after a fire near the South West region this morning.

The bushfire threatened homes in Ducane Road, Lillydale Road and Queelup Road but the Fire and Emergency Services Authority says it is now being held within containment lines.

Firefighters are mopping up and will monitor the area for the rest of the night.

About 10 hectares were burnt.

The fire was reported at 11.40am.
