Fire warning for Clarkson

Update, 6pm People in the southern part of Clarkson have been warned with firefighters battling to control a bushfire in the area.

The Fire and Emergency Services Authority has issued an advice warning for people in the area after the fire started west of Connolly Drive, between Neerabup Road and the Tamala Park waste management facility at 11.44am.

The fire is moving in an easterly direction at 300m per hour and has burnt through three hectares.

FESA says the fire is contained but not controlled and there is no threat to lives or homes.

Two helicopters, and firefighters, including six bushfire brigades, are on the scene.

All roads have been reopened in the area.
