Asus Eee Pad Transformer

The Eee Pad Transformer is a promise of things to come, with a tempting price to boot. Treating Android as a laptop is still a little rough, but for the most part works quite well, and the added battery life is a stroke of genius.

Rating: 8.0/10

The Good: Affordable Android 3.1 tablet with excellent screen • Excellent build quality • Full-sized USB ports and SD card reader on dock • Dock gives extra battery charge • Useful bundled software.

The Bad: No 5GHz Wi-Fi • No charging over USB • Android isn't yet fully notebook ready • Lack of palm-check on touch pad is annoying • No delete key.
