Sunday Night's Big Music Show

Sunday Night is wrapping up another incredible year in music with some of the biggest stars from our 2016 season, including Bruce Springsteen, Michael Buble and more.

Bruce Springsteen

The man we know was 'The Boss' had a rocky start in music, admitting his former bandmates and him were 'complete rejects' in their early music-making days.

He opened up about his famed performances and life as a rock star.

"You're picked on, you're beat up, you're cast out. These are the A-B and Cs of rock stardom, you can't get there without those things! I don't know anybody who hasn't got there seriously without those things,” Springsteen said.

"Music was my first self-medication, it centered me, gave me a sense of purpose, a sense of identity. Whenever I came home from playing I felt whole."

Bruce earned his nickname 'The Boss' collecting money at gigs and sharing it with his band, but so far in 2016 fans all over the world have paid $135 million to see him perform.

He has toured Australia five times, received rave reviews across the board, and is set to return in early 2017.

Michael Buble

The Canadian singer reveals how he nearly lost his voice for good and how he approached his new album.

"I like to party. And like anybody else, any young lad out there, I enjoy indulging in many things and partying with my friends and then I had kids and I said to myself, “You know what. I want to be more present, I don’t want to be wasted or anything. And I am just going to go cold turkey and sober. And I did. "

"I stopped everything. And you know what happened? My voice got mushed from it. I really should have not been sober. I think that's the story here kids," he said.

Trio

Parkinson's disease has silenced one of the most enduring voices of her generation.

Linda Ronstadt talked to Sunday Night about her battle with the disease that took her famed voice, saying it has taught her, "Radical acceptance".

The 'Blue Bayou' singer formed part to the famed Trio with close friends Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris, who have rallied around Linda as her health declines.

"I have to honestly say that there are some things in your life that you pick out and think that is one of the greatest things that I was ever a part of," Dolly said of Trio.

They first sang as a group nearly 50 years ago but because of Linda’s declining health, the trio admit they will never again be able to sing together again.

Andre Rieu

Andre Rieu is the world’s most flamboyant violinist. At 66 his youthful sense of fun on stage and his tremendous talent have made him an international star.
