Graeme started his career as a panel operator at 3AW Melbourne and made his first on-air appearance happened on Christmas morning, 1967.
In 1969, Graeme commenced his first full-time announcing position with 7LA (Launceston) Tasmania. After two years he was given a job back at 3AW as a general announcer on the evening shift and producing the late evening talk program.
An offer to join 5DN Adelaide as a full-time newsreader followed, along with a move into journalism.
Graeme later became sports editor and on-camera presenter and in 1983 he was appointed newsreader at Channel Seven.
In March 2001 Graeme was asked to take on the role of Club Ambassador for the Adelaide Football Club.
