Woman dies after being hit by car

A woman has died after being hit by a car on private property near Truro, near the Barossa Valley in South Australia.

Police and ambulance crews were called at about 11.30am, but were unable to revive the woman and she died at the scene.

Police are now preparing a report for the coroner.

They say because the crash occurred on private property, it will not be counted towards the road toll.
