Police wish to speak to these Smurfs
Police are trying to track down a group of men dressed up as smurfs who could hold the key to an assault on a man at a convenience store in Pascoe Vale, Victoria.
Victorian police are keen to speak to the group after a 37-year-old man was assaulted at around 1am on December 16 last year outside the convenience store.
Police say 'Papa Smurf' asked the victim for a cigarette, then demanded he light the cigarette first.
The man reportedly refused, before noticing Papa Smurf was accompanied by two other smurfs.
Police say the three smurfs were seen trying to jump start a white VS Commodore.
A short time later the 37-year-old man was assaulted.
Police have released CCTV footage of the three smurfs, who they believe can help with the investigation.
No word yet on the whereabouts of Gargamel and his cat.
