Police are hoping information from the public can help them catch a suspected arsonist operating south of Adelaide after another fire yesterday afternoon.
The fire began at Blewitt Springs at about 4.30pm and burnt about 600 square metres of vegetation near the intersection of Chapel Hill Rd and Blewitt Springs Rd.
No properties were threatened or destroyed and there were no injuries.
Police say they are investigating links to eight other fires in the area over the past three years, believed to be deliberately lit.
"We're investigating a fire series in that general vicinity ... since the beginning of 2010,β Detective Chief Inspector John Schrader said.
βAt this stage we believe that up to nine of those roadside arsons are possibly related.β
