A man has allegedly robbed a chemist armed with a metal pole at Hope Valley, in Adelaide’s north east, this morning.

Police say the man allegedly threatened staff at the Grand Junction Rd chemist at about 9.20am and stole the till.

Staff followed the man on foot for a short time after he left the premises.

No-one was injured and while the stolen till has been recovered, police are still looking for the alleged offender.

He is described as Caucasian, about 30-years-old, with a bald or shaved head, wearing a black leather jacket, khaki trousers and black fingernails.
