Detectives have arrested a man who allegedly robbed a chemist armed with a metal pole at Hope Valley, in Adelaide’s north east, last week.
Police say the man allegedly threatened staff and stole the till at the Grand Junction Rd chemist at about 9.20am on Thursday.
Staff followed the alleged suspect on foot for a short time after he left the premises.
No-one was injured and the till was later recovered.
Police patrols searched the area on the morning of the alleged incident but were unable to locate the suspect.
