Witness King Tides Project - get involved

A king tide will take place at Adelaide beaches from tomorrow and environmental group Green Cross Australia is urging people to take a photo for the Witness King Tides Project.

Budding photographers are being urged to head out at the peak of the tide, which hits along Port
Adelaide between 6 – 7pm on Wednesday 2 April and in Victor Harbor between 3 – 4pm on
Thursday 3 April.

The effects of the king tides are often similar during the high tides the day before and after, so keen snappers can capture images on these days too.

King tide dates and times vary greatly throughout South Australia, so participants are urged to check the tide times for their local beach.

You can send in your photos and check tide times through the Witness King Tides website.
