Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is hoping to move to New Zealand, according to media reports.
The 62-year-old American, who co-founded the multibillion-dollar company with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne, and designed its first computers, recently applied for Australian citizenship.
However, he told NBC News he plans to live in New Zealand, rather than Australia.
The California-based engineer, who is reportedly worth $US100 million (NZ$120m), visited New Zealand earlier this year, and met up with internet piracy-accused millionaire Kim Dotcom.
Wozniak spoke out against the police raid on Dotcom's Coatesville mansion, calling the charges against him "phony" in a July interview. He also hosted half-day seminars in Australia and New Zealand in May to discuss Apple, innovation and Steve Jobs' legacy.
