Horse 'parked' outside Brisbane pub
In a throwback to the times before cars, a horse was spotted 'parked' out the front of the Bellbowrie Tavern in Brisbane's western suburbs.
The image appeared on social networking site Facebook on the page titled 'Brisbane's Worst Parking' last week, and currently has almost 500 'Likes' and nearly 200 'Shares'.
The manager of the pub said the horse and its rider are regular visitors to the 'watering hole'.
"When she (the horse rider) first came up, I was a bit shocked. Like wow, we have a horse in our carpark," she told News Corp.
"We weren't too sure where we stood on it actually having a horse in our car park but we don't seem to mind it.
"The horse is really tame and everyone seems to find it amusing.
"The kids love it, they go and get to pat it.
"It's a little country-type area so it blends in and gives it a bit of atmosphere."
And she's not horsing around.
