Blog: Amber Renae ....and now for the fashions

You could feel the excitement in the air as Day #2 rolled around and the first public show at Fashion Paramount saw Yeojin Bae unveil her SS 11/12 collection, Premier.

As the fashion aficionados settled into their seats there was a sudden burst of excitement!

FULL COVERAGE: Perth Fashion Festival

Former Spice girl Mel B's arrival caused a flutter of light bulbs as enduring Spice Girls fans clamoured for a pic.

The pop-sensation looked curvalicious in a skin-tight black leather-look frock by local favourite Wheels and Dollbaby, the same designer I was lucky enough to wear!

Hacket Hall provided the perfect backdrop: architectural, modern, chic, a fitting match for Yeojins’ range of sexy separates and statement cocktail dresses.

The opening frock set the scene: nude, structured pleating, cap sleeve.

Both Mel B's and my fav piece of the range. The styling was relaxed and easy.

The exposed triangle bras are certainly a look I’ll be rocking this season ... love a little exposed lingerie.

Fresh floral bouquets were held loosely for the finale completing the refreshing, spring vibe.

A mad dash across to The Court for a sneaky champz and back for Designer Capsule #1: Little Gracie, Lisa Marjanovich and Paper Skye.

The runway was trailed in full bloom literally, with mixed bouquets on the floors and the walls.

Little Gracie opened the show with 'The First True Blossom' collection.

The opening frock was a 70’s inspired printed lame floral frock that every girl will want to disco in this season.

The soundtrack played 'peaches n cream' and that is the perfect way to describe this collection.

Next Lisa Marjanovich debuted her first ever collection.

The models had slicked wet hair which complimented will with the minimalist collection of neutral, draped asymmetry that every hipster will be dying to layer.

Paper Skye changed the pace with clean, crisp, white tailoring.

Fresh, modern and screaming Summer, the skillful marrying of sheer, shiny and matte is the perfect prescription to take you from day to evening, or beach to bar.

Complete with a finale under blue lights that saw the all-white models glow eerily iridescent. Super cool.

And so ends Day #2.
