Born on the Gold Coast in 1980, Talitha lived in Shepparton, Victoria for 5 years. In an area ravaged by drought, Talitha learnt her greatest weather lessons witnessing its effects on her family and friends.

Talitha returned to the Gold Coast at 12 years of age and attended Aquinas Catholic College. Also attending university on the Gold Coast, she graduated with a Bachelor of Communication majoring in journalism and business.

Talitha's first job in News was with Seven, Maroochydore. She then moved to Cairns to work at the Seven bureau before returning to Brisbane to join the Seven News team.

News and the weather fascinates Talitha and her time in the newsroom has given her a new perspective.

Outside of news and the weather, Talitha has a passion for music and has played the piano from the age of 4 years old.

Talitha also has a keen interest in real estate and property. To stay in shape, she goes for a run every day and regularly competes in several local marathons. In fact, anything outdoors on a boat or at the beach keeps Talitha happy.
