Hi I'm Sara Groen, Weather Reporter for 7News Sydney. Each Wednesday I'll be answering your weather questions here on Yahoo!7, so make sure you send through anything that may be puzzling you, from seasonal forecasts to storm meteorology and everything in between.

A former reporter with Beyond Tomorrow and Sydney Weekender, Seven News weather presenter Sara Groen joined the top rating team - which includes Ian Ross, Chris Bath and Matthew White - in January 2007.

Sara started with the Seven Network in 2002 as a presenter and segment producer for national children's television program Saturday Disney. She juggled her duties on the show with both university and acting studies.

In 2004, she joined Sydney Weekender as a reporter and in 2005, graduated from Monash University with a BA in Journalism. She was also a scholarship award recipient for academic excellence.

Reporting on the weather and environment was the next logical next step for Sara, who covered several meteorological stories during her time with the science and technology show, Beyond Tomorrow.

Sara is a well-seasoned traveller who has journeyed extensively through Asia and Europe and lived everywhere from Perth to Bangkok. She is also an ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and patron for Camp Quality. When she's not working she enjoys eating good food, the outdoors, and learning to surf.
