There are so many little things we can do around our homes to make a difference.
Take for example, getting rid of weeds. Sometimes, there are too many to remove by hand, so we have to spray.
If you use a chemical that does the job, it can be effective, but possibly toxic. So what is the solution?
Recently I had a call fom a viewer who told me her simple natural mixture will kill most weeds .
All you need to do is mix:
- 1 cup of salt
- 2 litres of white vinegar
- a few drops of dishwashing liquid
Then spray it on the weeds but make sure you avoid other plants.
You may have to use it a few times, but if it works, you can feel safe in the knowledge you've done the job without affecting the surrounding environment.
Remember, you can make the difference.

Would it be fair to say that the Australian public are the most brain washed country in the world?Most of what the media talk about is how great it is in Australia, and how much better Austalians are compared to the rest of the world.Australians throughout the world are known as being loud,and always bragging and boasting how good they are,and putting other national down.So it seems the media is at least doing it's job?It's just so sad that it's all untrue.
