More than four months after his death, the King of Pop will take his final curtain call.
Or will he?
The highly anticipated "This Is It" documentary premieres around the world today (Wednesday) ahead of a strictly limited two week stint at the movies.
It's a behind-the-scenes look at Jacko's final rehearsals ahead of his 50-date London concert series.
Family and close friends have already had a sneak peek and they seem to like what they've seen.
So much so that Elizabeth Taylor tweeted herself silly with a mere 19 messages of praise.
She called her long time friend a "modern day prophet" and wept as she watched "the most brilliant piece of film-making I have ever seen".
But 100 hours of rehearsal footage culled into a 51 minute PG movie came at a price.
Sony swooped in with a $60 million dollar offer for the exclusive film rights.
And it appears execs will be getting their money's worth. "This Is It" is expected to make more than $100 million over the next five days with most sessions already sold out.
Sony has revealed it could have made the film bigger, better and in 3D.
With most of Jacko's die-hard fans still grieving for someone who is about to become the King of the Box Office, it's safe to assume this might not be 'IT' just yet.
