A P-plater has crashed into a swimming pool near Macquarie Fields this morning.

The 17-year-old was driving along Epping Forest Drive in Kearns this morning at around 7am.

He told police he wasn't paying attention and mounted the gutter.

He crashed through two fences and into the swimming pool.

The force of the crash pushed a children's cubby and outdoor furniture into the pool.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police expect to lay charges against the 17-year-old including negligent driving.
