FIRST ON 7: A police chase has ended with a car crash in Sydney's west.

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and is now being questioned by officers.

The pursuit started in Smithfield at about 11:20am this morning.

The chase ended when the suspect's car collided with a police vehicle at the intersection of Edensor and Cowpasture Roads at Edensor Park.

Luckily, no-one was injured.

It's believed the Holden Commodore was stolen.
