A NSW Department of Education student-teacher portal revealed a little more than was necessary yesterday when porn images popped up on the site.

According to News Limited, lewd images from a Japanese escort agency appeared on the website.

There were women in various states of undress advertising "prices" of "14,000 yen for 70 minutes".

After allegedly being alerted to the pictures yesterday, Education Minister Adrian Piccoli was forced to order the images be taken down.

The government said although the site may have been hacked, they also conceded that it might have been an issue with an internet domain change.
