Three people in hospital after boat catches alight on NSW Central Coast

Three people have been taken to hospital after a boat caught fire on the NSW Central Coast this afternoon.

Ambulance and police were called to reports of a boat caught alight at Scenic Drive, Budgewoi, about 2.40pm on Australia Day.

Two people have been transported to hospital with minor burns to the arm and leg, while a third has suffered minor burns to the face. All three are in a stable condition Fire and Rescue NSW have confirmed.

The fire has been extinguished and investigations are underway.
