Dog attack horror

Mum Angela could have lost the sight in one eye after the attack.

A Kellyville mother, mauled by two vicious dogs, wants them found before someone else is attacked.

The 46-year-old suffered terrible facial injuries and nearly lost an eye.

She is also upset no one, including the dogs owner stopped to help her, despite the blood streaming down her face.

The mother had been jogging near Bernie Mullane Oval at Kellyville last Monday when two large dogs leapt up at her, sinking their teeth into her face, around her right eye, as well as mauling her chin.

"My instantaneous reaction was to put my hand straight onto my eye,” Angela said.

“I pulled by hand away and blood came pouring out.”

Bleeding heavily and without a mobile phone Angela asked the dogs' owner for help.

"He gave me his shirt to sort of mop up the blood and then said I really have to go.”

The man walked Angela to her car, telling her his dogs were friendly, before fleeing.

She says at least four people walked past as she stood with blood pouring down her face but no-one stopped to help.

No one stopped to help

She said: "I’m even more outraged that I got left and I got left there to fend for myself and the guy didn't ring an ambulance or at least make sure that someone could come and get me.

”Then all the other people walk past. I would never do that, that's not you help people.”

Angela needed 15 stitches around her eye and more stitches to her chin and will see an eye surgeon once the swelling has gone down.

Hills Shire Council say it will do everything it can to find the dogs, warning the owener could be fined up to $77,000 or even face jail time.
