Ghosts blamed for suspicious Sydney pub videos

The owner of a Sydney pub suspects a ghost may be responsible for some eerie activities that have been caught by the hotel's security cameras.

Peter Bradbury, licensee of the Carlisle Castle Hotel in Newtown, recently noticed bottles and glassware smashing on the ground with no one near them on separate occasions.

The mysterious shattering of glasses, flickering of lights and unexplained noises have become increasingly regular, said Bradbury.

"We have the cameras on when we're doing the tills and we've seen a few strange things," he told the Inner West Courier.

One bartender reportedly witnessed the 'ghost' turn a beer tap on.

Bradbury also told News Ltd that, if it is a ghost, it has high-end taste.

"Red wine seems to be the choice, apparently he likes the red," he said.

"Expensive wine too, he picked a Kilikanoon last night, which is about $27 a bottle."
